Der Duro ist ein geländegängiges, leicht gepanzertes militärisch-taktisches Fahrzeug. Der Duro wurde auf eine Ausschreibung des Schweizer Militärs von der Bucher-Guyer AG entwickelt und zur Fertigung an Mowag übergeben.
Der Name Duro steht für DU rable (dauerhaft) und RO bust. Er wird verwendet als Mannschaftstransporter, Kommando- und Kontrollfahrzeug, Logistik-, Ambulanz- oder Gerätefahrzeug.
In der gepanzerten Ausführung bietet es ballistischen Schutz und integrierten Minen- sowie ABC-Schutz.

Die Bundeswehr beschaffte 2004 insgesamt 26 der dreiachsigen geschützten Mehrzweckfahrzeuge.
